• Where can I go?

    The boundaries are the Ballard Locks and the Montlake Cut. Our boats cannot go into Lake Washington. A 3 hour cruise is the optimal time.

  • How long can I rent a boat for?

    We have a 2 hour minimum & 4 hour maximum.

  • Are pets allowed?

    Sorry, pets are not allowed. Of course, service animals are the exception.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. You must cancel prior to that otherwise you are charged in full. For multiple boat parties we have a 7 day cancellation policy.

  • Will my kids have fun?

    Absolutely! Our electric boats are a kid friendly environment. Children love our boats!  Our boats are great for babies too!

  • Will I get cold on the boat?

    Our boat rentals have full window enclosures that can go up or down depending on what you feel comfortable with. If you keep the windows down the boats stay warm for the cooler days. We provide heaters and blankets upon request.

  • Can I bring food and beverages on board?

    You are welcome to bring any food or beverage, we provide coolers with ice for $5.  We also offer platters and appetizers that we can have waiting for you on your boat.  Be sure to check out our menu.

  • Are the boats easy to drive?

    The boat is as easy as driving a golf cart and goes 6 mph. You have to be 25 years old to drive an electric boat rental. We provide a map of lake Union and go over how to drive the boat and where to go on the map before you depart.

  • Do you need a boating license to drive the boat?

    No, the only requirement is the driver must be at least 25 years of age.

  • Are life jackets provided?

    Yes, we do for all ages. Kids 12 and under are required by law to wear a life jacket. We do have life jackets for infants as well. If the infant is in a car seat or baby carriage they aren’t required to wear one — we give you one anyway to have on board. All adult life jackets are underneath your seats.

  • How many people fit on each boat?

    10 people total. Children are counted.

  • What does it cost?

    $99 per hour (+ tax) – 2 hour minimum and 4 hour maximum.  Rates after tax are as follows:

    2 hours – $218
    3 hours – $327
    4 hours – $436
